Single-card buyback opens today, in beta. You build a cart from your account, we send you a prepaid label, you post your cards — and you receive store credit to spend with us.
Who can use it
Buyback is open to every customer who has already completed at least one order with us. It isn't meant to be exclusive: we would simply rather start with people we already know while we run the process in.
If you have ordered before, access is automatic — sign in and the page opens.
How it works
- You build your cart. Search your cards by name or collector number, or paste a list straight in. For each one, state its language, finish and condition. The amount updates as you go.
- You submit it. We review your cart within 24 working hours. If everything checks out, you receive a prepaid shipping label as a PDF. If a market price has moved, or a card can't be taken, we make you a new offer — and nothing ships until you have decided.
- You post your cards. The label is on us, you pay nothing up front. It stays valid for 7 days. Slip the summary sheet into the parcel, protect your cards properly, and drop it off at a post office.
- We check. When the parcel is opened, every card is inspected: version, set, language and actual condition. You get our answer within 48 hours.
- You get paid. If everything matches, your credit is added. If the condition we observe differs, you receive a line-by-line breakdown with the new amount: you accept, or you decline and we send your cards back at our expense.
What you receive
During the beta, buyback is settled in store credit only, valid for 12 months. There is no code to copy: the credit sits on your customer account and is offered to you at checkout.
One thing to remember: sign in before you pay. Checking out as a guest, your credit won't be offered.
Cash buyback will come — it is planned, at a necessarily lower rate, since credit comes back to us. We would rather open one payout method and get it right than two half-finished.
The rates, plainly
- 50 % to 70 % of market price depending on what the card is worth: the more it is worth, the better the rate. Cards we are actively looking for carry a ★ Wanted badge and a higher rate.
- 10 to 200 cards per cart, up to €150 per buyback. Beyond that, start a second one.
- Shipping free from €60 of buyback. Below that, €4.90 is deducted from your total.
- Conditions accepted: NM, EX and GD. More heavily played cards aren't bought individually.
- Your low-value cards go in as bulk, at €8/kg up to 5 kg. Nothing for you to work out: we weigh on arrival and it is added to your total.
- Around 70 recent sets are open for buyback. The list changes over time.
What “beta” means here
We would rather say it up front than let you find out.
The amounts shown in the cart are estimates. They are worked out from today's market prices, which move, and from the condition you declare, which we haven't seen yet. They may therefore be revised twice: when we review your cart, and again once your cards reach us.
In both cases, you approve the new offer. Nothing is ever settled, or kept, without your agreement — and declining after we've received your cards means we send them back at our expense, no small print.
The flow will change over the coming weeks: screens will move, rates will be adjusted. If something looks wrong to you, write to us — this is precisely the moment when your feedback is worth something.
