Les cinq boîtes de decks Commander Foundations alignées — Magic: The Gathering.

Five Foundations Commander decks join the catalogue

Five boxes, five colours, five ways to play. The Foundations Commander decks have joined our catalogue, in English, releasing on 2 October 2026.

Why start Commander here

Commander is the most played format in Magic — and the most intimidating: a hundred different cards, a general, a table of three to five players. Building your first deck from scratch is expensive and takes weeks.

These five are made for exactly that moment. Open the box and play: the deck is complete, no other card is needed, and the tokens it wants are in the box. Each one sticks to a single colour and a single idea — Angels, artifacts, Zombies, Dragons, dinosaurs — so you understand what you are doing from the very first game, with no combo to unpick and no obscure interaction to memorise.

They are also the best base for what comes next: a clear mono-coloured deck can be upgraded one card at a time, at the pace of what you open in boosters or pick up as singles. And because they belong to Foundations, Magic's cornerstone set, these decks aren't a seasonal curiosity — they stay a reference for years.

The five decks

Calling All Angels — Foundations Commander Deck

Calling All Angels

white deck — Giada strengthens every Angel you cast. Ramp up, put bigger and bigger winged creatures on the table, then swing with all of them at once.

Keen Engineering — Foundations Commander Deck

Keen Engineering

blue deck — Every artifact you play alongside Sai builds a flying Thopter. An army that grows by accumulation, while card draw keeps you a step ahead.

Wretched Ranks — Foundations Commander Deck

Wretched Ranks

black deck — Ghoulcaller Gisa raises a horde of Zombies. Sacrifice, reanimate, repeat: the graveyard isn’t a loss, it’s a supply.

Reign of Dragons — Foundations Commander Deck

Reign of Dragons

red deck — Lathliss makes a Dragon whenever another Dragon shows up. Treasure tokens pay for the first ones, and each one brings another along.

Tramplesaurus Rex — Foundations Commander Deck

Tramplesaurus Rex

green deck — The more power you have on board, the cheaper Ghalta gets. This deck rewards raw size and the trample that walks straight through blockers.

Every box holds a ready-to-play 100-card deck, its commander as a traditional foil, ten double-sided tokens, a deck box, a strategy insert and a reference card. You'll find them alongside the rest of the range in our English-language Commander decks.

What about French?

We are trying to bring them in in French as well, but let's be clear: as of today, none of our suppliers has confirmed it. We won't put a product page online until we are certain we can deliver — we would rather tell you now than have you wait on an order we aren't sure we can honour. As soon as we have an answer, it will be here.

In the meantime, pre-orders are open on all five English versions. We only sell what we have reserved: our quantities match our allocation, not one more — when a line reads “Sold out”, it's gone. Your order ships on release day, 2 October.

Happy gaming, everyone, and enjoy your first game of Commander.
